### Day 1 | Travel to Barcelona, Saturday, April 7

- Stayed at [**Pullman Hotel**](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Pullman%20Hotel%20Barcelona). Nice hotel by the beach, booked through Hotwire. Highly recommend.
- Dinner at [La Paradeta](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=La%20Paradeta%20Barcelona). Fresh seafood cooked to order; an authentic local experience. Recommend.

### Day 2 | Barcelona, Sunday, April 8

- Free Walking Tour by [Sandeman's](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Sandeman%27s%20Barcelona). A great way to get to know the city fast; our guide Yiannis was incredible. Highly recommend.
- Lunch at [Craft Barcelona](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Craft%20Barcelona). Great $1 pinchos. Recommend.
- [Sagrada Família](https://sagradafamilia.org/) guided tour. The most amazing thing we've seen; book online a few days early. Highly recommend.
- Tapas Tour by Sandeman's. A variety of tapas; fun but could be skipped. Guide Stefana was decent. Recommend.
- Drinks at [Paradiso / Pastrami Bar](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Paradiso%20%2F%20Pastrami%20Bar%20Barcelona). The best speakeasy we've been to. Highly recommend.

### Day 3 | Barcelona, Monday, April 9

- Moved to [**Hotel Gòtic**](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Hotel%20G%C3%B2tic%20Barcelona). Central, down the street from where the tours start, booked through Hotwire. Recommend.
- Breakfast at [Viena](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Viena%20Barcelona) on La Rambla. The NYT raved about the jamón ibérico and it didn't disappoint. Recommend.
- Biking Tour by Sandeman's. A different part of town; guide Macu was awesome. Highly recommend.
- Lunch at [Sagardi](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Sagardi%20Barcelona). The best tapas experience of our trip. Highly recommend.
- Gaudí and Modernisme tour by Sandeman's. A great tour of Barcelona's architecture; guide Daniel was awesome. Highly recommend.
- Dinner at [Barraca](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Barraca%20Barcelona). Recommended by guides for paella; the house wine was amazing. Highly recommend.
- Drinks at [W Barcelona](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=W%20Barcelona). Fancy building; the view is cool with a good spot.

### Day 4 | Travel to Seville, Tuesday, April 10

- Stayed at [**Hotel Cervantes**](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Hotel%20Cervantes%20Seville). Basic, comfortable, inexpensive, and very central — a 5-minute walk to the main spots. Booked through Hotwire. Recommend.
- Seville [Cathedral](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seville%5FCathedral) and [Alcázar](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alc%C3%A1zar%5Fof%5FSeville) tour by [Feel the City](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Feel%20the%20City%20Seville). Amazing buildings, but a poorly organized tour and the guides weren't great. Don't recommend Feel the City — consider another company.
- Dinner at [Al Aljibe](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Al%20Aljibe%20Seville). Good food and ambiance. Recommend.

### Day 5 | Seville, Wednesday, April 11

- Tapas Cooking Class by [Not Just a Tourist](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Not%20Just%20a%20Tourist%20Seville). An amazing, authentic experience — just us. Highly recommend.
- Flamenco show at [Casa de la Memoria](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Casa%20de%20la%20Memoria%20Seville). An amazing show for a small audience. Highly recommend.
- Dessert at [El Comercio](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=El%20Comercio%20Seville). Popular for churros y chocolate. Highly recommend.
- Walked to [Plaza de España](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plaza%5Fde%5FEspa%C3%B1a,%5FSeville). A beautiful area with gorgeous buildings. Highly recommend.
- Dinner at [Las Columnas](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Las%20Columnas%20Seville). Recommended by guides; amazing food. Highly recommend.

### Day 6 | Travel to Granada, Thursday, April 12

- Stayed at [**Hotel Barceló Congress**](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Hotel%20Barcel%C3%B3%20Congress%20Granada). Nice but inexpensive; a bit far from the Alhambra. Booked through Hotwire. Highly recommend.
- Lunch at [Rosario Varela](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Rosario%20Varela%20Granada). The best tapas outside Barcelona; free tapas with the drinks. Highly recommend.
- Dinner at [Bodegas Castañeda](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Bodegas%20Casta%C3%B1eda%20Granada). Traditional tapas and ambiance, recommended by guides; good food. Recommend.
- Signed up for the Free Sacromonte Walking Tour by [Walking Granada](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Walking%20Granada) but skipped it due to the rain.

### Day 7 | Granada, Friday, April 13

- Free Walking Tour by Feel the City. Hit all the main spots; guide Pedro was awesome. Highly recommend.
- Lunch at [Gran Café Bib-Rambla](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Gran%20Caf%C3%A9%20Bib-Rambla%20Granada). Decent tapas and paella. Recommend.
- Granada City Train Tour by [Get Your Guide](https://www.getyourguide.com). An efficient way to see everything; we used it to reach the Alhambra without a taxi. Recommend.
- Killed time at [Jardines Alberto](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Jardines%20Alberto%20Granada) by the Alhambra — tea and piononos (Granada's most popular dessert). Great vibe. Recommend.
- [Alhambra](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alhambra) Palace and Generalife Gardens tour by Get Your Guide. Amazing; our guide was awesome. Highly recommend.
- Tea at [Arrayanes](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Arrayanes%20Granada) Tea House. The Alhambra-area tea house was amazing, and the tea unique. Highly recommend.
- Dinner at Arrayanes. One of our best meals in Spain; hospitable owners; a nice change from tapas. Highly recommend.

### Day 8 | Travel to Barcelona, Saturday, April 14

- Stayed at [**Hotel NH Collection Barcelona**](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Hotel%20NH%20Collection%20Barcelona). Very nice but inexpensive, in the heart of Barcelona. Highly recommend.
- Gaudí's [Park Güell](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Park%5FG%C3%BCell) walking tour by [Viator](https://www.viator.com). The park was amazing, but the guide barely spoke English. (We'd planned the Get Your Guide tour but it sold out.)
- Dessert at [Xurreria](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Xurreria%20Barcelona). The best churros we had in Spain. Highly recommend.
- Dinner at various stalls in [La Boqueria](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/La%5FBoqueria). Great food, awesome atmosphere; a variety of empanadas. Highly recommend.
